a study of the program, form and spatial assembly of David Adjaye’s Sunken House, examining the ways in which it reacts to and revitalises the traditional typology of the Victorian townhouse. this study took particular note of the selectivity with which openings invited sunlight and gaze, the simplicity of the project’s construction, and the radicalisation of section.
